Project Description:
I performed tasks associated with using tcpdump to capture network traffic on a Linux virtual machine.
I captured the data in a packet capture (p-cap) file, then examine the contents of the captured packet data to focus on specific types of traffic.

Ran SQL queries to retrieve information from a database called organization that contained two table log_in_attempts and employees.
Also applied AND , OR and NOT operators to filter various SQL queries.

An algorithm that updates a file that identifies employees who can access restricted content.
The restrictions are based on their IP address.
There is an allow list for IP addresses permitted to sign into a restricted sub-network.
There is also a remove list that identifies which employees must be removed from the allow list.

Project Description:
Examine an existing permission of a file system.
Check if permissions matched the authorization that should be given.
If they didn’t match, modify the permissions to the appropriate users and remove any unauthorized access.

I am a detail-oriented lover of TECH & Cybersecurity professional leveraging over a decade of experience in the IT industry. Adept at troubleshooting, and fixing IT-related (hardware, software, networking, IoT) issues. My journey in the Cyber security world has began. I am so excited!

Portfolio

I am passionate about technology and excited about the skills and proficiency I have gained on this Cybersecurity journey; skills such as Python automation, threat mitigation, using network analyzing tools, and using SIEM Tools. It's always a rush learning new software and testing them out in my HOME LAB.

I recently completed the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity Certificate and Linux Essentials along with Google Cybersecurity. What's next you may ask, CompTIA Security+ of-course! Then, PCEP Python, CISCO Ethical Hacking, learn a little AWS and sprinkle some CISSP after a few years of experience. I am excited to see where this security PATH will lead me.
